I. Form 2 - 6 Admission for 2024-2025 (Opening)

 

Step 1

Download and read the following admission information.

Step 2

 

A. Online Application (Deadline: 31st May, 2024)

  • Follow the instructions in the Application Notes or 2024-2025 Admission to prepare for the required documents.
  • Complete an online application form by pasting this link into your web browser or by scanning the QR code:

B. By Hand or Post (Deadline: 31st May, 2024)

 

Download and submit the following documents to the Admission Office.

1.  Application Form 2024-2025

  • Forms 2 – 3 and Forms 4 – 6 Hong Kong Stream (HKDSE)

2.  Enrolment Agreement (2024-2025)

3.  A Copy of Hong Kong Identity Card / Passports (plus A Copy of Dependent Visa or Student Visa, if applicable)

4.  A Copy of School’s Report Cards in the Past 2 Years

5.  Payment of the non-refundable application fee of HKD$100 by bank transfer. (NB. The YHKCC does not accept cash or cheques.) Please attach the bank-in slip to the application form.

 

Step 3

Entry Tests & Interview Arrangements

1. After assessing the application information, Forms 2 – 3 and Forms 4 – 6 Hong Kong Stream (HKDSE) applicants will be invited to take Chinese, English and Mathematics Entry Tests to assess if they can meet the school’s admission expectations.

2. If the Entry Test results can meet the school’s admission expectations, an interview will be arranged.

3. Form 3 and Forms 4 – 6 Hong Kong Stream (HKDSE) applicants will also choose elective subjects during the interview.

 

Step 4

Admission Result Notification & Registration

⦁    All applicants will receive an email about the admission result.

⦁    Successful applicants should follow the information in the email to come to school to register.

 

 

 

II. Form 1 Admission for 2024-2025

Please note that Form 1 in 2024-2025 is currently full, but we are still accepting applications because past experience shows that not everyone who has accepted the offer will take it up. If you're interested in Form 1 admission, kindly submit the required documents shown below. Shortlisted candidates will be placed on the waiting list. When places in Form 1 become available, shortlisted candidates will then be considered.

Step 2

Refer to the Application Notes for 2024-2025 Admission to download and fill in all the application documents as shown below.

 

By Hand or Post

 

Download and submit the following documents to the Admission Office.

  1. Application Form 2024-2025

  6. Academic Reference for Form 1 Admission (2024-2025) and Confirmation of Chinese Language Learning Background (For Form 1 only) 2024-2025 should be passed to the primary school to fill in and send them to the YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College by E-mail at admissions@yhkcc.edu.hk.

Step 3

Interview Arrangements

  1. After assessing the application information, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend the 1st interview in due course.
  2. Shortlisted applicants in the Talented Scheme may be invited to attend an assessment.
  3. After the 1st interview, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend the 2nd interview.

 

Step 4

Admission Result Notification & Registration

  1. All applicants will receive an email about the admission result.
  2. Successful applicants should follow the information in the email to come to school to register.
