Music Contest Finals
The Music Contest Finals were held right before the summer holiday in the School Hall. With the theme ‘Ignite your Music Dream’, it was a joint effort by aspiring musicians in the school. The opening performances were presented by the Orchestra, Choir and Beat Club, followed by the contest in Vocal Solo, Group, Instrumental and Band categories.
We were honoured to have singer-songwriter, Ms Debbie Mannas to be our guest adjudicator. There was also a panel of star adjudicators formed by Ms Hayley Simms, Ms Izzy Jose, Ms Lorraine Chow, Mr Edgar Caole and Mr Mark Basford. Due to limited seats for the audience under the pandemic, the voting of the Audience Choice Award by our students was extended online during the summer holiday with sharing of the video.
The Music Society is committed to building a community that cares. With a limited audience, we still managed to raise a fund of HKD 3,600 for the Heep Hong Society. We would like to show our gratitude to all the generous donors.
Finally, we would like to thank all the contestants, backstage, lighting and sound crew, helpers and staff for their great support, making the event tremendous success.
