HKDSE & GCE A-Level Information Evening (F.3 & F.4)
The F.3 & F.4 HKDSE & GCE A-Level Information evening was successfully held on Friday 7th January 2022, with approximately 200 parents and students from F.3 and F.4 coming to the event. The evening was composed of two parts, with the main presentation being about the essence of local and international curricula, and the second part being the sharing of the information about each elective subject by subject representatives. Parents and students had a chance to get a better understanding of their stream and elective subjects’ options in the evening.
The Information Evening began with the main presentation in the school hall and the Trinity hall respectively at 6:30 pm. Ms. Diana Lo, Mr. Andrew Higgins, and Mr. Jonathan Yip have shared the information about F.4 stream options and F.5 DSE & GCE application procedures. Ms. Lo was also proud to share the outstanding achievements in the recent public examinations.
Thereafter, Forms 3 and 4 parents and students went to different classrooms to join subject teachers after the main presentation to learn more about the elective subjects available in local and international curricula. Moreover, subject teachers and student helpers also set up promotion booths and boards, introducing their subjects and career options to parents and students. Our Career and Higher Education Counselors greeted and met some of the parents and students to give them advice on planning their desired paths.
As a general guide, parents and students were given comprehensive information to provide a thorough understanding of the two curricula’ aims, contents, and characteristics, and their tertiary studies paths in both Hong Kong and overseas. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from the informative evening.
