University Fair at Discovery College
On 21st September, all Form Five and Six students visited the annual University Fair at the Discovery College. With more than ninety universities participating in the Fair, students managed to get a comprehensive overview of universities from different parts of the world. Students actively consulted university representatives about specific courses and requirements, collected university brochures and attended a seminar on tertiary education in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.
Students found the Fair useful to better understand the differences in the higher education systems in different countries, the characteristics of universities and types of support given to students. University representatives were equally impressed by our students’ awareness of global higher education opportunities and their readiness to ask questions. It was a fruitful visit for students, enabling them to start planning for their future.
