School Visit by the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China

On 26th September, the delegates from the University of Nottingham in Ningbo visited our school. Professor Chris Rudd, Provost and Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University, headed the delegation and  our Principal, Mr. Dion Chen together with Mr. Andrew Higgins, Deputy Principal (International Curriculum)  and also Mr. Jonathan Mok, Careers and Higher Education Counsellor welcomed them warmly.

Mr. Higgins and Mr. Mok kicked off the exchange programme with a comprehensive school tour and gave the delegates an overview of our school mission, vision and core values. They also introduced the school’s Student Guidance and Discipline System (SGDS) which provides all-round pastoral care to students, enabling them to become confident, happy and responsible “glocal” citizens.  Members of the delegation found that our school shared many similarities with the university, in particular, the dedication of fostering global-mindedness among students.

It was a very fruitful exchange and we are dedicated to making a stronger connection with the University in the future.
