Higher Education Conference
On 18th October, all Form Five students attended the Higher Education Conference organised by the school. The Conference started with a short speech given by our Principal, Mr. Dion Chen. He encouraged all students to start envisioning their future path and reminded them of the importance of planning ahead. Mr. Jonathan Mok, the Careers and Higher Education Counsellor, then provided an overview of the Conference to students
During the morning session, students learned about the latest information from the presenters of various study destinations including both local and overseas institutions and universities such as University of Queensland (Australia), York University (Canada), Newcastle University (UK), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), etc. They gave a clear set out for students regarding the academic entrance requirements and further study path. .
In the afternoon session, speakers from different professions shared their working experience and suggested practical ways for our students to prepare themselves to join theoe professions.
Speakers were impressed by the high level of engagement of our students and their great initiative to ask questions. The students considered the Conference a wonderful opportunity for them to obtain the latest information to plan for their future.
