Modern Foreign Language Week

The Modern Foreign Language Department organized its annual Language Week in December.

A range of activities were held to cater to the students’ multiple interests. For example, Star Wars fans could watch their favorite episodes in French, while those were more interested in art, created their own sculpture based on two famous Spanish artists, Picasso and Miro. Students also had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about French culture and History.

The highlight of the week was the karaoke during lunchtime, where students and teachers alike enjoyed singing the latest hits –together with some good oldies- in French and Spanish.  All in all, it was a great opportunity to indulge oneself in different languages and cultures in a relaxed setting.
