Islands District Art Fair 2018
On 3rd and 4th March, the Islands District Art Fair 2018 was successfully held in Tat Tung Road Garden with more than thirty sales booths run by different ethnic groups and local charitable organizations.
On the first day, over twenty schools and organizations in Tung Chung community were invited to perform in the variety show. We joined the YMCA of Hong Kong Tung Chung Centre to run a booth together. As the theme of the fair was “Chinese Valentine's day”, our school volunteers sold well-packaged candies and chocolates to wish all people in the fair a very sweet Valentine's Day. We also displayed three beautiful artifacts which were created by second-hand toys in our booth. The artifacts drew much attention and positive comments by the visitors including parents and children as it conveyed the message of recycling and revitalization of toys. The highlight of the day was certainly our school's dance team with four senior form girls performing an iconic K-pop dance. The audience fully enjoyed their performance.
