School Visit by Phuketwittayalai School, Thailand
On 13th March, a group of 40 students and teachers from the Phuketwittayalai School, Thailand visited us for an English-exchange programme.
YHKCC students and teachers gave them a warm welcome during the Student Briefing in the morning and, in return, the students from Phuketwittayalai performed for us a fabulous traditional Thai dance. Followed by the performance, the Thai students were paired up with our students to experience a half day school life at our campus. They joined activities and discussion in lessons including Liberal students, Mathematics, Biology, Business, THS, etc. to have a taste of our curriculum as well as the interactive teaching and learning approaches. Before the end of the visit, all the students all had lunch together at the canteen to share the bits and pieces of the morning session. Finally, YHKCC students bid farewell to them after taking a group photo and the exchange of contacts. They gave one another big hugs and exchanged contacts, showing hospitality and friendliness.
The visit was a fruitful opportunity for both schools to develop a strong bonding and allowed students to have a better understanding about the education system in different countries.
