HKDSE & IGCSE Information Evening (F.1 & F.2)
On 2nd March, the HKDSE & IGCSE Information Evening was conducted for Forms 1 and 2 parents and students. More than 300 parents and students attended the event.
The Principal spoke about the curriculum structure in Forms 3 and 4 and gave advice to both parents and students about making elective subject choices, Subject teachers and Heads of Department then explained more about the various subjects offered by the school in Form 3 and also explained how they prepared students for tertiary study and the world of work. Senior Form students were available to share their experiences about choosing elective subjects when they were in Form 2 and about the nature of studying these subjects.
Subject talks were conducted in three different time slots over the course of the evening. As a result parents and students were able to choose to attend the sessions which they were most interested in. According to the feedback received, parents and students found the HKDSE & IGCSE Information Evening useful and it was a great good opportunity for them to interact with teachers to find out more about the best way forward for their children.
