College Night
The school’s College Night was held on 5th July to celebrate students’ outstanding academic achievements. Our School Supervisor, Mr. Peter Ho, member of the SMC, Mr. Evans Mendonca, the sponsorship donors, Mr. Joseph Klodt of The Bridge Church and Mr. Choi Kim Lui attended the ceremony as our Guests of Honour.
Principal, Mr. Dion Chen, gave a warm welcome to all parents and guests and was glad and proud to share the great attainments of our students. Mr. Chen was grateful to see the great effort students spent throughout the year to strive for excellence. He also expressed sincere appreciation for the contribution, dedication and support of all the teachers and parents in the course of the year.
Mr. Ho congratulated all the academic prize winners and shared wise words with the audience so as to encourage students to work even harder to realise their dreams. Prizes including Subject Prize, Position Prize, Progress, Best All-round Students, Outstanding Achievement Areas and Student Leadership were presented and rounds of applause were given to all recipients as recognition for their outstanding achievements.
The night was also celebrated with impressive speech performances in Mandarin, English and French as well as music performances, including the praise band performance, choir, orchestra ensemble and drum performance. Refreshment was served after the ceremony with much joy and lots of laughters.
