Admission Briefing
The Admission Briefing was successfully held on 20th October, with a full house in the school hall and live streaming in classrooms with over 950 parents and their children attending.
Our Principal, Mr. Dion Chen gave a comprehensive overview of the school and stressed the core values of the school as well as the importance of home-school cooperation. More information on the curriculum, pastoral care system, admission procedures and ECAs was introduced by the members of the Leadership Team. Our student representatives from different forms also shared with the audience their energetic school life, joyful learning experiences, remarkable achievements and some special highlights of school events in the course of the years. Rounds of applause were given for the sharing.
School tours were conducted in the form of self-guided tours and groups led by our Student Ambassadors. Demonstrations, performances and pieces of artwork were shown in the lab, the music block, the fine art centre, fitness centre / wellness studio, etc. Visitors were excited to explore around and showed great enthusiasm in joining the set games and experiments. Parents and their children were also impressed by our spacious campus, the well-equipped facilities and the vast diversity of the student body. Some parents had good exchanges with the Student Ambassadors and appreciated their detailed introductions at each venue. Parents also had a good chat with The Principal as well as the leadership team members during the Q & A session to get an in-depth understanding of the school.
It was a fruitful day for visitors to have a better understanding about YHKCC! We sincerely hope that all the visitors had a pleasant and enjoyable visit.
