YHKCC showed continued dedication to community efforts in helping needy people, bringing joy and love to them. More than 690 local children and their parents were given complimentary tickets for the afternoon talent show and cash vouchers to spend in over 30 game, bazaar and food booths. This year, the school is devoted to giving back to the community by giving out 250 goodie bags to the elderly, needy individuals and families, as an expression of love, care and support via NGOs including The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, YMCA Tung Chung Centre, Christian and Missionary Alliance Tung Chung Church, Community Development Enhance Fund Limited, Hong Kong Police Force (Police Community Relations Office Lantau District) and Hong Chi Association.

The International Talent Shows featuring the unique characteristics of different cultures and ethnic groups around the world such as Bangladesh, China, India, Italy, Korea, the Philippines, the USA, Nepal and many more was the climax of the day and received the highest accolade. The talents and creativity of students were fully expressed through martial arts, singing and dancing performances. The fiesta ended with a full house attendance with roaring applause.

We will continue to extend our core values in action to spread love and care to the entire community through various channels like service trips, visits and also voluntary work. We look forward to building and seeing a community that cares.” – Mr. Dion Chen, Principal
