The 24 Hour Race
The 24 Hour Race is a movement in which thousands of high school students gather all around the world for 24 hours in a global fight against slavery. It was founded in Hong Kong in December 2010. It allows the youths to take part in different activities such as student led races, conferences and other projects in which they can help in raising funds and spreading awareness to fight slavery.
Our Form 5 and 6 Students participated in the 24 Hour Hong Kong Race 2018 held in Lugard Road Peak on the 1st and 2nd December, 2018. The event was participated in by more than 40 schools in Hong Kong. We have five teams to participate in the event and our Boys Team was placed overall 3rd in the most number of lapses in the race. They garnered a total of 67 lapses of 3.3km/lapse in the duration of 24 hours. Moreover, the Girls Team D was the 6th top team in the overall standing among the 26 girls teams. They managed to run 52 lapses in the duration of 24 hours.
