F.5 Careers and Higher Education Mini-Fair and Information Evening

An eventful fair, Higher Education Conference,  was held on 16th April  for the Form 5 students and parents to have first-hand interaction with universities and professionals from different institutions and organizations  so they can make informed decisions for their future.

The first section of the afternoon was a Mini-fair in the School Hall.  Over 20 different institutions were invited to join the fair,   including local and overseas university representatives, professionals from aviation, business and finance, food and beverages, healthcare, and non-government organisations and education. Students were given a chance to ask questions and freely interact with the representatives, getting the latest information about the entrance criteria and seeking professional advice.

In the second part of the event, parents joined together with the students when Mr. Andrew Higgins , Deputy Principal for International Curriculum and Mr. Patrick Campbell, Careers & Higher Education Consultant, gave an overview of the Career and Higher Education Support Program. Afterwards, parents and students were free to attend the Advice & Information sessions from professions such as finance, engineering, medicine, business & more! All the guest speakers shared their inspiring stories and gave constructive advice about paving the way for further studies.
