College Night
The school’s College Night was held on 4th July to celebrate students’ outstanding academic achievements. Our School Supervisor, Mr. Peter Ho, members of the SMC, Mr. Alfred Chan, former deputy principal of YHKCC, sponsorship donor, Mr. Eric Scott of The Bridge Church, our alumnus, Mr. Charles Schwalt Chan, attended the ceremony as our platform party.
Principal, Mr. Dion Chen, gave a warm welcome to all parents and guests and was glad and proud to share the great attainments of our students. Mr. Chen was grateful to see the great effort students spent throughout the year to strive for excellence. He also expressed sincere appreciation for the contribution, dedication and support of all the teachers and parents in the course of the year.
Mr. Ho congratulated all the prize winners and quoted one of our graduates’ vote of thanks to encourage students to work even harder and guide them to keep faiths in their life. Prizes including Subject Prize, Position Prize, Progress Prize, Best All-round Students, Outstanding Achievement Areas and Student Leadership were presented. Rounds of applause were given to all awardees as recognition for their outstanding achievements.
The night was also celebrated with music performances, including the praise band performance, choir, orchestra ensemble and drum performance. Everyone then moved to the covered playground to enjoy the refreshment prepared by our own catering team.
