Chinese History Field Trip for F.1 students
To consolidate students’ understanding about Chinese History and traditional architectural style, the Chinese and Chinese History Department organised field trips for F.1 students to visit Haw Par Mansion in January, 2020. Haw Par Mansion was built in Chinese Eclectic style with a blend of Western and Chinese construction methods and architectural theory.
Our students enjoyed a great fun-filled afternoon and actively interacted with the docents from Haw Par Mansion. The students are going to design souvenirs for future visitors after the trip to promote the architectural features of Haw Par Mansion. We all look forward to having more field trips in the upcoming future.
