Graduation Ceremony
YHKCC’s Annual Graduation Ceremony for Form 6 students was held on the 27thJune. We were very honoured to have Mr Patrick Yip, President of the YMCA of Hong Kong as the Guests-of-Honour, Mr Peter Ho, School Supervisor; Mr Dion Chen, Principal; and SMC members were the platform party.
The Principal, Mr Dion Chen, welcomed all parents and friends to celebrate the graduation of this year's Form 6s. He was pleased to see them staying positive despite the difficulties and challenges due to the impact of the COVID-19. Such experiences not only helped them grow greatly but also think more deeply for their future. He ended his speech by congratulating all graduates and encouraging them to continue to be resilient and caring to make a better world.
Mr. Yip shared his happiness as the guest-of-honour of the YHKCC Graduation Ceremony again. He conveyed a very inspiring message to the Form 6 graduates that they should believe in doing what is right and be open to opportunities presented to us. He ended his address by using God’s words to remind students to have faith, hope and love and spread positive influence to everyone in their lives.
The prize presentation ended with a thankful hymn, One Way and Amazing Grace, which the graduates and audience sang together, giving thanks to the Lord, our Saviour. All graduates were happy and grateful to have their parents and friends celebrate the special moment with them.
