"I JUMP Challenge" Closing Ceremony
Earlier this year, the Form 6 students and teachers were invited to participate in the "I JUMP Challenge" organised by JPC Lantau. The programme covered a 20-day morning workout challenge with 20 push-ups, 20 sit-ups as well as 10 Star Jumps with the objective to build up a habit of doing daily exercise and pursue a healthy living.
Our students and teachers gathered at the school hall for 20 consecutive mornings and completed the challenge in high spirit. It was challenging at first since most of us were not regular exercisers, however, after two to three days training, it became easier as we all felt fitter and were toned. We were all in good spirit and chanted After the completion of 20 days challenge, there was no doubt that we were healthier and found doing workouts fun. The programme definitely helped us pursue a healthier lifestyle.
The closing ceremony was held on 6th February with a delegation of guests and representatives from supporting organsations in attendance. Our Principal, Mr. Dion Chen and Deputy Principal, Ms. Diana Lo, fully supported the event, they even did an extension set of push up together with guests on the spot and joined a hiking challenge to the Lantau Peak (934m), the second highest peak in Hong Kong, after the ceremony. The big challenge was absolutely a great wrap up to the programme.
