Parents-Teacher Conferences
YHKCC held two Parent-Teacher Conferences on 16th and 18th February at the school hall for parents of Form 1 to Form 6. This year, many parents attended the meeting to collect their child’s report cards. The conferences helped parents understand the areas their child is excelling in, and to learn of their child’s social and study progress at school. Teachers can also understand the child’s behavior at home and with their friends. Both parents and teachers have developed a productive relationship that will benefit the children and their performance in school.
Students performing particularly well in their studies were asked to see Mr. Chen with their parents after they have collected the report cards. Mr. Chen congratulated the students and the parents for the excellent achievement, and took a picture with them in his office. Many parents appreciated the chance of speaking to teachers in a face-to-face setting. They were able to share their views about the school, and in particular, how their children liked and enjoyed the school. The PT Conferences were indeed a very successful event.
