YHKCC garners Best SME ICT (Adoption) Bronze Award in Hong Kong ICT Awards 2013
YHKCC is pleased to announce that the school has won the Best SME ICT (Adoption) Bronze Award in the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2013 for the implementation of a new online learning system, ‘Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)’ to improve communication between parents, students and teachers, and to provide parents with details about what their children are learning in the school. YHKCC is the first DSS school in Hong Kong to have been awarded this recognition.
The VLE System is a web-based system developed by the School and WestcomZivo Limited. The system is to accelerate and streamline school administration and management operation, including class schedule management, student performance and portfolio management, parent communication and school facility booking. It provides a centralised and common information platform for students, teachers, parents and school administrators to access updated school’s information and communicate daily classroom operations. It can also eliminate the redundancy in tedious school administration and enhance an effective communication channel among all parties.

Looking ahead, YHKCC will continue to improve the relationship with different stakeholders of the school community.”
