Foshan Huaying School Visit
On 8th November 2013, Ms. CHEN Fengping, the Deputy Party Secretary of Foshan Huaying School, Guangzhou, China, and 9 of their teachers visited the YHKCC. Mr. Dion Chen welcomed the delegates and introduced them the school mission and vision and the academic programme.
Foshan Huaying School is a secondary school and has currently admitted over 3000 students. This year, they are celebrating their 100th anniversary. Being one of the leading schools in Foshan, it achieves great success in public examinations every year. In 2009, Foshan Huaying School established its international curriculum and introduced IGCSE (International General Certificate of Education) programmes.
The purpose of their visit was to understand the operation of the international programmes in out school. The delegates from Foshan Huaying School had an in-depth discussion with the Principal and teachers. They also visited the school library, fine art centre, music block, school hall and sports field. They were impressed by the international environment, all-round education for students, as well as the caring atmosphere on campus.
