Student-Teacher Fortnight
The Student-Teacher Fortnight was organised by the YHKCC Student Council from the 18th to the 29th March.
During these two jam-packed weeks, eager students and teachers alike immersed in a wide array of activities included teacher versus student dodgeball, volleyball and football matches to a basketball skills challenge and even a music concert where teachers and students showcased side by side their gifts and talents.
Other events included inspirational and at times entertaining sharing sessions, where teachers opened up their hearts and their life experiences to their students. The fortnight culminated in a Trivia Quiz, where teachers and students teamed up to test their knowledge of the school and anything else under the sun.
The enthusiasm of the participants is what really made the fortnight a success in strengthening the bonds between students and teachers, providing them with an opportunity to meet outside the classroom setting and letting students show appreciation to their teachers.
