Collaborative Concert with HK Harp Chamber
On 5th May, some of our Orchestra and String Ensemble members performed in the Jazz Harp Evening at the Jehovahjireh Concert Hall of International Christian Quality Music Secondary & Primary School.
We performed Canon in D and Moon Represents My Heart collaboratively with world renowned musicians including harpist Park Stickney and Ann Huang, pianist Allen Youngblood, artistes Manting Chan and Sharon Kwok. In addition, we played together with student harpists from three other schools and members of the Hong Kong Harp Chamber Ensemble. Our students truly valued the performance opportunity and showed great effort in the two intensive rehearsals during Easter holiday.
The performance was a real success and we are looking forward to more collaborative performances in the future. Well done to our Orchestra & String Ensemble!
