Prefect Exchange Program in Beijing

The Prefect Hong Kong Beijing Exchange Program was held from 23rd to 27thDecember, 2014. The program was organized by the Education Bureau and two hundred F.5 prefects and twenty teachers from 98 schools were selected to engage in this leadership exchange program.

Our student Tsang Ka Long Leo (5K, 23), prefect coordinators Mr Angus Yung and Dr Cathy Kwong took part in the program this year. From the exchange program, students got better understanding about the Science and Technology development in China nowadays. The students visited Beijing National Stadium (also known as the Bird’s Nest), Beijing National Aquatics Center (also known as the Water Cube), and various museums such as Space, Railway, as well as Science and Technology Museums.

Moreover, students took the valuable opportunity to have an in-depth communication  with the secondary and tertiary school students there. Last but not least, , all participants conducted  group presentations on the last day of the program. It definitely broadens the horizon, enhances leadership, social and interpersonal skills and even helps to build team spirit and fosters self-motivation. All the students enjoyed the program very much and hope to  join the  program again next year!
