Nan Hai Immersion Programme
During the Easter Holiday from 1st April to 4th April, 19 students and 2 teachers went to Nan Hai, China, for an Immersion Programme which was organized by the Chinese and Chinese History Department. Our students were all warmly welcomed by students and teachers the Nan Hai Secondary School.
Buddy paring with students from Nan Hai Secondary School, our students experienced many of the diverse programmes organized by the school, such as Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese style paper cutting, Ku Fu, Dancing lessons,etc. Besides having a chance to experience and understand the cultural differences between Nan Hai and Hong Kong, our students also had lessons with their buddies to further explore different educational approaches. Moreover, our students have built up strong relationships with their buddies through communication in both Mandarin and English.
After having such a wonderful time with their Nan Hai buddies, tears, and the same time laughs, burst out in the Farwell Ceremony. All the students really look forward to participating in next year’s Immersion Programme again.
