Nanhai Middle School Visit, Foshan China
We are glad to have 26 students and 3 teachers from the Nanhai Middle School (Foshan China) experiencing our school life on 5th and 6th October. In the past two years, the Chinese Department organized the Chinese Language and Culture Immersion Programme for Elementary Chinese students to participate in different kinds of learning activities in Nanhai Middle School. With fond memories, the teachers from Nanhai school arranged their students to visit and shadow our students this time.
Students from Nanhai were paired up with YHKCC students in the programme. On 5th October, the first day of their visit, our Principal, Mr. Dion Chen, and some of our students in the Elementary Chinese classes warmly welcomed them and introduced our international dynamic school learning environment and campus facilities to them before they attended the r lessons. The Nanhai students enjoyed the Home Economics and Music workshops together with our students after school. They were all having great fun and time!
On 6th October, Nanhai students were fully engaged in YHKCC school life. They shadowed our students in different lessons, and enjoyed lunch with our students together. The Nanhai students were completely exposed to the multi-cultural and interactive school life of YHKCC. Close friendship and strong bonding were developed with our students.
A fruitful sharing and farewell party marked an end of the school visit on 6thOctober. Students exchanged contact, took photos and gave big hugs with one another. . Finally, YHKCC waved goodbye to the Nanhai students and both groups of students were so excited that they were eager to look forward to the next exchange programme.
