Friendlies with Dandanong Thunder Football Team
The YHKCC were pleased to host the Dandanong Thunder Football Team from Melborne, Australia during their tour in Hong Kong. They were welcomed formally at the Christmas Assembly where we were celebrating our student’s academic and sporting achievements. Afterwards the team joined together with the football players and coaches to share a training session followed by a mixed team friendly game.
It was a great opportunity for our players to share their football experience and to train and play with a Premier Club representative, U16 team from overseas. The Thunder were very grateful for the opportunity offered them to the visit and a training session at our campus before their final big game.
They played six games on their tour, culminating in a very exciting and entertaining match against the Hong Kong U16 team which ended in a well played 2 all draw.
