ONES Teacher Exchange Programme, Thailand
This year, the YHKCC hosted the ONES Teacher Exchange Programme on 25th of April, in which a total of 30 Thai Teachers teaching English as a Foreign Language visited our school. The day was packed with intensive pedagogical discussions and workshops where teachers from our three departments namely English, Modern Foreign Languages and Chinese participated in.
The day started off with our school Principal, Mr. Dion Chen, giving an introduction of YHKCC and a tour around the school. Then it was followed by a sharing session of foreign language teaching strategies and a workshop on teaching English through literature and popular culture. All Thai teachers were also invited into our F2 English classrooms to see some of the strategies that had been shared in action.
Both parties had had a positive experience and are looking forward to collaborating again in the future.
