Hong Kong Observatory Field Trip
The Geography Department organized an educational trip for IGCSE Geography students in Form 3 to visit The Hong Kong Observatory. The Observatory is a government department responsible for monitoring and forecasting weather, as well as issuing warnings on weather-related hazards.
The Geography students got the opportunity to observe how weather instruments work and ask questions to experts. They also had a lot of fun presenting the weather forecast and watching the observatory staff hard at work. They thoroughly enjoyed the trip and will apply what they have learnt to their future IGCSE Geography studies.
