115 Volunteer Movement Appreciation Ceremony
On 8th April, 60 students were awarded a Volunteer Award Certificate at the YMCA of Hong Kong 115th Anniversary 115 Volunteer Movement Appreciation Ceremony to celebrate their generous service to the society. In 2016, the 60 students were divided in groups of 3 to 5 completed a total of 115 hours or more of volunteer service. .
Their empathetic actions of community participation and support of social service work were showcased in the school's Service Outreach Week 2016 in local and overseas services, Christmas visits to the elderly, disabled and children, and many other school-organised volunteer programs.
During these service opportunities, students are able to interact with those around them and spread joy, love and care to them. The ceremony was eventful and meaningful to have our students' service acknowledged.
