Affordable Art Fair Visit
On 20th May, Art students from Forms 3, 4, and 5 visited the Affordable Art Fair in HKCEC, Wan Chai. All the art exhibited was for sale and prices ranged from HK$1,000 - HKD100,000! On show was a huge variety of art, sculptures, paintings and installations exhibited by 110 galleries from all around the globe. Students could also take part in workshops and interactive activities. Additionally, students viewed work from “Young Talent Hong Kong” and “Arts with the Disabled Association”. Students were able to talk to the gallery owners and even some of the artists to gain a deeper understanding of the artworks on view. Through the appreciation of some first class art, students gained greater knowledge of the job of an artist and acquired an insight into the art world.
