Results of the 13th Putonghua Speech Competition for Non-Chinese Speaking Students (Secondary School Division)
The 13th Putonghua Speech Competition for Non-Chinese Speaking Students was successfully held from March to May, with 8 schools and over 45 students registering and participating in the competition.
For the past three years, online submission of Chinese speech videos has been adopted. Despite this, the outstanding speech performances demonstrate great enthusiasm for learning Chinese. We hope that this competition will continue to provide a platform for non-Chinese speaking students in Hong Kong to enhance their interest and enthusiasm for the Chinese language.
This year, we are honored to have the College of Chinese Language and Literature of South China Normal University and the National Language Promotion Base as co-organizers of the competition. With their support, we believe our students have benefited even more from this valuable experience.
An exciting new element has also been added this year: the winning videos will be jointly edited into a highlight video and submitted to a mainland Chinese platform for wider sharing and recognition.
