Parent-Teacher Association
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school is a vital and energetic organization. The purpose of PTA is to promote home-school co-operation, improve home-school relations, and provide an organization through which all those engaged and interested in the work of the YHKCC can meet, collaborate, co-operate and generally exchange ideas and information, in order to advance the mission of the school.

I’ve nearly completed a decade as a PTA member—6 years in India and 3 years here at the YHKCC—and it has been an amazing journey. This experience has opened my eyes to how closely we can work with the school across many areas. It’s helped me understand school policies better while always keeping the parents’ perspective in mind.
The last three years at the YHKCC, especially post-COVID, have been really inspiring. We’ve seen great growth in parent-school collaboration through the activities of the PTA. I am proud to be part of a committed team, which is focused on the shared goals of supporting our kids and strengthening our community. I’m looking forward to your support in helping me successfully manage the role I have been appointed for in YHKCC.
