Parent-Teacher Association
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school is a vital and energetic organization. The purpose of PTA is to promote home-school co-operation, improve home-school relations, and provide an organization through which all those engaged and interested in the work of the YHKCC can meet, collaborate, co-operate and generally exchange ideas and information, in order to advance the mission of the school.

“Entering my second year as a member of the PTA prompts reflections on the growth that we have achieved within our parents’ community. It is just the beginning of our journey to unite parents and the school, thereby strengthening communication. As a parent myself, with a daughter in Form 2 and a son who will soon be starting at the YHKCC, I understand that sometimes we need support. Everyone learns something new; our students study and learn to become teenagers and then adults, while we learn to become better parents. We are all on this journey, and my goals as chairman of the PTA are to help facilitate better communication channels, streamlined discussions and support. With this in mind, we hope to encourage more parents to get involved in the PTA, as well as in volunteering and school activities.”
