Parent-Teacher Association
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school is a vital and energetic organization. The purpose of PTA is to promote home-school co-operation, improve home-school relations, and provide an organization through which all those engaged and interested in the work of the YHKCC can meet, collaborate, co-operate and generally exchange ideas and information, in order to advance the mission of the school.

YHKCC’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is an integral part of the school’s organisation, bridging the gap between parents, teachers and the wider school staff. The purpose of PTA is to promote home-school co-operation, improve home-school relations, and provide an organisation through which all those engaged and interested in the work of the YHKCC can meet, collaborate, co-operate, and generally exchange ideas and information, in order to advance the mission of the school.
As part of our mission, the PTA arranges a number of diverse social and learning events over the course of the school year, offering activities that not only strengthen the bonds between parents and the school but, in some cases, offer learning and development opportunities that benefit both parents and pupils. Recent events have included Mother’s Day flower arranging classes, yoga sessions, nature walks and, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Red Cross, First Aid training course and certification.
Each year group has a PTA representative who acts as a point of contact so please do feel free to reach out to us at pta@yhkcc.edu.hk if you are interested in what we do, have suggestions for activities that you would like to see us offer, or would like to contribute in any way. You will also find us in person at one of the many events that we organise and attend over the course of the year.
